The 38 m² studio house has been restored by local artist Ana Luisa Benítez to function as her retreat while painting in the natural reserve Tamadaba. The holiday house is on a property with a beautiful garden with mango trees and beautiful flowers. The traditional architectural elements were retained: stone walls, wooden beams and a traditional roof top give it lots of charm. The small, bright bathroom with its uneven walls is reminiscent of the artist. Upon entering, you set foot into the kitchen, find the bathroom to the right and the living/bedroom/dining room straight ahead. The bedroom is furnished with a 150 cm x 200 cm bed. In front of the bed is a wardrobe. The round dining table with four chairs leads to the sofa bed, where you can relax after a day out. The 135 cm x 190 cm sofa bed can accommodate and additional guest. The desk houses a television. The house has Wi-Fi. Next to the dining table is a welsh dresser with plenty of dishes and glass wares. The kitchen is equipped with a three burner gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom boasts a bathtub with a shower curtain, a sink with a mirror and a toilet. The house does not have radiators. Due to the 40 to 50 cm natural stone walls and the tempered climate, according to the owner, it is also not necessary. We have heating units should they be needed, but in 15 years they have never been requested.The painter's country home is located in Agaete, above the quaint town of El Risco. It sits at an elevation of 150 meters and is a beautiful house with stunning views of the mountains. It is located in the west of the island at the heart of the UNESCO nature reserve Tamadaba.The use of the barbecue can be limited during risk of fire (drought). El Risco, 150 m above sea level and protected from the elements by the mountains, has one of the best microclimates on the island. You can start your hike on your front door. It is 45 minutes to Charco Azul, a waterfall, and an hour to Tirma, Faneque and the pine forest of Tamadaba.Outside, the breakfast spot is under a palm tree. The elevated garden can be accessed via a few steps in between two mango trees and is absolutely beautiful. There is a dining table with a sun shade, so you can enjoy your meals al fresco. Enjoy the sun loungers during the day. The views of the Tamadaba natural reserve are going to make you want to put on your hiking shoes. Enjoy star gazing at night.

Na bevestiging van de boeking moet binnen tien dagen een aanbetaling van 20% gedaan worden van de totale huursom. Vervolgens moet de tweede betaling uiterlijk 42 dagen voor vertrek worden voldaan. Indien u vertrekt binnen zes weken dan moet het volledige bedrag direct worden voldaan.
