The house is situated in rural surroundings directly on the North Aegean coast opposite the Greek island of Lesbos (12km), which has a fantastic view. It is situated on a large, very well-kept olive grove (21000 square metres) in a secluded location. The sea is the Aegean Sea with the sub-designation "Gulf of Edremit" Sivrice is a small peninsula on which a distinct individual tourism has developed in recent years, especially by residents of Istanbul. As there is no mass tourism, nature has retained its outstanding beauty. About 10 kilometres to the east lies the ancient Greek city of Assos, whose ruins are of impressive beauty. The ancient harbour of Assos is well worth a visit.Our property lies alone between 2 beaches, one sandy and one pebbly. Accordingly, the swimming opportunities are excellent.About 20 km to the west is the westernmost point of Turkey with the village of Babakale. Other interesting excursion possibilities are Troy (approx. 80 km) and the ancient Alexandria Troas.The weekly market in Ayvacik (30 km) is the central shopping centre, which still retains its oriental flair. There are well-stocked supermarkets there. The provincial capital Canakkale (100km) is located on the Dardanelles, the separation between Europe and Asia The guest house was newly and elaborately built in 2023. It is located on a gentle slope and could therefore be built into this slope. Except for the front façade made of natural stone, the house lies in the ground. The house therefore has a pleasant climate. The roof is also made of earth and houses a roof garden with a terrace. The architecture is extraordinary (see photos). Some say it is modern and archaic at the same time. It has 2 rooms. Each room has a double bed, a shower with toilet and a beautiful customised kitchen made of solid wood. An antique table and three matching chairs invite you to dine and so on. Each room has the same furnishings. A large light-absorbing curtain guarantees pleasant darkness even in daylight. In the cooler seasons, the rooms are heated with an air heat pump via underfloor heating.Our water supply comes from our own deep well with excellent water quality.In front of the house is a beautiful terrace from which a staircase and a path lead to a pergola directly above the sea.A jetty into the sea invites you to swim. Above the jetty is a 2nd pergola with an outdoor shower.The property is overgrown with hundreds of olive trees, but also with oaks and old holm oaks. Hundreds of old oleander bushes guarantee a sea of colour in May and June when they are in bloom.There are 6 small hotels in our neighbourhood, most of them right by the sea. You can also eat well there. A little further away (approx. 3 km) is the centre of Sivrice with a larger number of small hotels, shopping facilities and a small fishing port.What makes this hotel so special is its unusual architecture and location. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. The distance to the sea is approx. 50 metres. A beautifully maintained olive grove, many natural stone walls, which are due to soil erosion, as well as the secluded location are to be emphasised. In addition, the lush nature of the surrounding area must also be mentioned. The house is situated between 2 beaches, one of which is sandy and the other pebbly,We have a small flock of sheep that are allowed to graze freely on the property. We also have chickens, 3 Kangal dogs (2 of which are now 6 months old in April. They are very playful and extremely friendly towards people). We also have 2 cats.Our area is well developed for tourism, but there is no mass tourism. Everything is small and manageable. That's why many residents of the super metropolis Istanbul have built a small summer house here.Our property is located in the large area of Troas, named after the ancient city of Troy.It is a rural structure, but has good transport links. There are many possibilities for excursions in the rural, historical and urban areas (Canakkale has a large university and well over 100,000 inhabitants). About the same distance as Canakkale is Edremit (approx. 100 km) with its own airport.The beauty of nature invites you to go for long walks.

Na bevestiging van de boeking moet binnen tien dagen een aanbetaling van 20% gedaan worden van de totale huursom. Vervolgens moet de tweede betaling uiterlijk 42 dagen voor vertrek worden voldaan. Indien u vertrekt binnen zes weken dan moet het volledige bedrag direct worden voldaan.
