Holiday house 'Badia Vecchia' is located in the countryside surrounding the enchanting medieval village of Monteverdi Marittimo, built in Tuscan style with characteristic exposed beams and a private swimming pool. For the summer of 2024, air conditioning has been installedin all rooms and a photovoltaic system. It is ideal for those who want a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany. The house is only 1600 m from the village, inside a private park of about 1,000 sqm with olive and cypress trees, completely fenced and with a splendid panoramic view of the green hills of the Val di Cornia, in a quiet but not isolated position. The beaches of Marina di Donoratico are only 22 km away.The accommodation The house consists of two double bedrooms, one with an additional single bed, and one bedroom with two single beds, all finely furnished, three bathrooms with shower, a living room with sofa and television, a kitchen equipped with electric hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and moka. In the hinterland, Suvereto is an evocative medieval walled village, still a stone's throw from the Etruscan town of Populonia. Campiglia Marittima is an ancient medieval castle, which can still be entered today through the three historic gates inserted in the walls.
Larderello, the capital of Geothermal Energy, in the "Devil's Valley" between boraciferous fumaroles and geysers, is a fascinating territory that inspired Dante Alighieri in the Inferno of the Divine Comedy.
